NCEEC is a gated facility, therefore, new members must contact the Program Coodinator at programcoordinator@smas.us early on the day of the first observing session they want to attend, to be sure someone will be on site that evening. It is possible that no one will be there, because the scheduling of a SMAS Observing Session DOES NOT guarantee attendance by members, regardless of the weather. Members are then welcome to observe by themselves on scheduled and non-scheduled evenings, after going through the site access orientation, including lock locations, combinations, notification procedures, etc.
